Hello!
Thanks for visiting. I'll keep it brief...

I have over twenty years’ experience of marketing, communications and media relations in arts and culture, both in the commercial and public sectors.

I have recently become Head of Communications at Salisbury Cathedral. Prior to this I was Head of Communications for the National Youth Choir, championing singing and music-making for young people across the UK.

I was formerly Communications & Sales Director for Wiltshire Creative and Head of Marketing at Salisbury Playhouse during a period when audience figures grew to above the national average and the venue won the title of Most Welcoming Theatre at the UK Theatre Awards.

In 2018 I led communications through the merger of Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury Arts Centre and Salisbury International Arts Festival to launch Wiltshire Creative.

I have also worked with freelance clients including Leeds Playhouse and MAST Mayflower Studios Southampton.

Career highlights include working with Theatre Royal Plymouth, Qdos (now Crossroads) Pantomimes, The Eden Project, Swansea Grand Theatre and marketing agency Target Live.

I have also been a tutor for UK Theatre's highly-regarded 'Druidstone' Essentials of Marketing residential course.

I have experience of working with visitors, audiences, artists, agencies, media and stakeholders at all levels.

With a broad range of interests in music, theatre, art, heritage, sport and popular culture, I love getting stuck in to develop creative, engaging communications that are on message, on target and on budget.

I am also proud to be a trustee of my local community centre in Wilton, Wiltshire.
